Anti-Trust.

Wireless connections for computers are highly hackable. The area for the signal on a wireless is large enough, someone in the apartment next to you, outside in a car, etc, can hack into the signal. I've seen it done.

The best solution I can offer to avoid spyware/worms/viruses/etc is to format often. Save all important things: drivers, txts, programs, etc; to disk (Zip, floppy, CD) and clean format. That means you delete EVERYTHING on your computer, including your Operating System. Make sure you do have a Windows (Or whatever else your OS is) disk before you do this. Also, make sure you have a Product Key. You'll need it when you install your OS again.

Keep updated on Virus software. There's a couple virus scanners online, as well, that are updated almost daily. Have a firewall. Have spyware detectors, such as Microsoft's Anti-Spyware, Hijack-This, Spybot S&D.

If you're afraid of being tracked through IP (Internet Proxy Number), learn and use proxies. Make sure it's an anonymous proxy AND at least level 3 secure.

Change your passwords often and always lock your computer when you're not using it. Use a combination of letters and numbers. Let's say your original password is "Missing", change it to "M1551n6" where 1 represents the I's, 5 represents the S's, and 6 represents the G.

A fun little trick to see if someone is spying on you, set up a new eMail, through Hotmail or any other free service provider. Don't tell anyone about it. Go to a secure computer, such as the library or a Cyber Cafe, and set up another eMail. Send interesting eMails to yourself as if you were talking to a long lost friend, lover. Watch to see if you start getting weird eMails to either account, see if some of your eMails to yourself somehow become public.

ALWAYS mark all your eMails as unread before you exit your account. A lot of people don't realize that reading eMails mark them as read (It just doesn't dawn on them). If someone hacked your account and is reading your eMails, they might forget to mark them unread again and there's a clue.

Just some tips that I do. I hope they'll help someone.
