First 'cybercrime' treaty advances in Senate.

A U.S. Senate panel on Tuesday approved the world's first treaty targeting "cybercrime," clearing the way for a floor vote later this year.

All nine members of the Foreign Relations Committee who were present said by voice vote that they broadly agreed with the Council of Europe Convention on Cybercrime, handing a hard-won victory to software companies that are eager for the U.S. to ratify it.

FBI.

I've contacted the FBI. I'm tired of waiting for someone to call me, eMail me. I'm tired of being ignored. I'm tired.

I've been traipsing about the net trying to find someone new I could talk to. I feel I'm running out of sources. I'm sick of this.

If I don't get any replies within the next few days, I'm going to take this civilian. Contact anyone and everyone involved with cybercrime and make some waves. After I get done with that, and still no word from anyone, I'll start the eMail process over. Even if I have to flood all these people's eMails begging them to help me. The media will be a very last resort, but a resort nonetheless.

I'll figure something out, I hope. Wish me luck.

Police "get the message" via audio spotlight technology

The quote below is from vigilante stalking/electronic harassment target Kelly Taylor, who lives in Utah, and who owns the "poor man's voice to skull device", meaning the Holosonics Inc. "audio spotlight." The audio spotlights can single out one target in a crowd at a moderate distance and feed audio to that person which, pretty well, only the target can hear.

Michael White charged with second-degree murder of pregnant wife, Liana

A husband pleads for his wife's return - and then he happens to be in the search crew that finds her body. The body is found on the city's outskirts - like that of several others killed by someone apparently stalking Edmonton women -but police don't want to talk about it.

Fear.

Still no response from anyone. From CJC, from the lieu, from Naylor, from anyone. I'm beginning to think my "Mission" isn't worth it. I'm afraid that my child will be caught in the crossfire and I don't want to put him through that. I'm afraid that if I just ignore it, that it'll go on, and get worse.

I've also contacted the State's Attorney General for Cybercrime. Funny, they have an Attorney General for this but no state-laws in place for cybercrime. Maybe I'm missing something. I still haven't heard back from them.

Identity MIA,

Sounds like you are cyberstalking Naylor. As a victim of gang stalking who has had all of her personal information posted on the web, one would think that you would know better.

Apalling does not even come close to describing your behavior.
No, I am not cyberstalking Naylor. He puts himself on the internet as an expert and I have a right to know who I can trust and who I cannot, and to post my findings. All the information I have gathered is public information, meaning I did nothing illegal to obtain the information, as my group-stalking gained information illegally and is endangering a minor. Big difference. He states all these credentials but does not provide any resources to back his story up. Can you say "Fraud"?

Cyberstalking is the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk someone. This term is used interchangeably with online harassment and online abuse.
Stalking is following or observing a person persistently and surreptitiously, sometimes done out of obsession or derangement. Stalking may involve the intent to acquire private information or objects. Common victims of stalking include celebrities, ex-husbands/wives and ex-boy/girlfriends, and teachers. In more extreme cases, stalking leads to threats or violence.
I am not following, observing, nor threatening Naylor. Merely investigating.

Techniques For Suppression Of An Interfering Talker In Co-Channel Speech

J.A. Naylor, S.F. Boll
CDROM Proc. Page: 205-208

The problem addressed by this study is the suppression of an undesired talker when two talkers are communicating simultaneously on the same monophonic channel (co-channel speech). Two different applications are considered, improved performance for automatic speech and speaker recognition (ASR) systems. For the human intelligibility problem, the desired talker is the weaker of the two signals with voice-to-voice power ratios (Power desired / Power interference), or VVRs, as low as -18dB. For ASR applications, the desired talker is the stronger of the two signals with VVRs as low as 5dB. Signal analysis algorithms have been developed which attempt to separate the co-channel spectrum into components due to the two different (stronger and weaker) talkers.

Below is an eMail to Jeffrey Naylor, assumed criminal investigator. Go ahead, try Googling him. I'll keep this status updated.
I've Googled you, and I find nothing to support your credentials. I would love if you could provide links to verify who you are. Considering you've listed public speaking and Cheney, I'd assume there'd be honorable sites that mention this. Which, of course, I haven't found.

Thanks.

Anti-Trust.

Wireless connections for computers are highly hackable. The area for the signal on a wireless is large enough, someone in the apartment next to you, outside in a car, etc, can hack into the signal. I've seen it done.

The best solution I can offer to avoid spyware/worms/viruses/etc is to format often. Save all important things: drivers, txts, programs, etc; to disk (Zip, floppy, CD) and clean format. That means you delete EVERYTHING on your computer, including your Operating System. Make sure you do have a Windows (Or whatever else your OS is) disk before you do this. Also, make sure you have a Product Key. You'll need it when you install your OS again.

Keep updated on Virus software. There's a couple virus scanners online, as well, that are updated almost daily. Have a firewall. Have spyware detectors, such as Microsoft's Anti-Spyware, Hijack-This, Spybot S&D.

If you're afraid of being tracked through IP (Internet Proxy Number), learn and use proxies. Make sure it's an anonymous proxy AND at least level 3 secure.

Change your passwords often and always lock your computer when you're not using it. Use a combination of letters and numbers. Let's say your original password is "Missing", change it to "M1551n6" where 1 represents the I's, 5 represents the S's, and 6 represents the G.

A fun little trick to see if someone is spying on you, set up a new eMail, through Hotmail or any other free service provider. Don't tell anyone about it. Go to a secure computer, such as the library or a Cyber Cafe, and set up another eMail. Send interesting eMails to yourself as if you were talking to a long lost friend, lover. Watch to see if you start getting weird eMails to either account, see if some of your eMails to yourself somehow become public.

ALWAYS mark all your eMails as unread before you exit your account. A lot of people don't realize that reading eMails mark them as read (It just doesn't dawn on them). If someone hacked your account and is reading your eMails, they might forget to mark them unread again and there's a clue.

Just some tips that I do. I hope they'll help someone.

LE to the rescue.

The officer I spoke to the other day, a lieutenant, called me. He went to the website that I spoke to him about and told me he found it quite graphic. He explained to me that now, after viewing the website, he understands my position a little bit more. I knew if someone saw it they'd be more helpful to me, rather than brushing me off as "We don't have enough resources."

He told me of a fellow officer that is net savvy, who used to do what this group is doing, that he would more than likely know about the site. The lieu told me he would talk to the guy about his feelings about the website. He understood how wrong it is for this group to by-pass LE, said that the content of the site is horrible. Pretty much agreed with me about everything involving the site. How the mission is noble but the means are way out of line. It's nice that he understands my situation better. He sounded a lot more helpful and open than when I had first met him. I'm glad he looked at the website.

Land of the Free.

My state does not have cyberstalking/harassment laws. None. It's one of the four not to have anything in place for this type of thing.

I live in a state that allows a predator more right than a victim. The people doing this are protected more than I am. I can't fathom this.

I'm not sure if I could pursue this in a different state, under different laws, since all of this is across state lines. I'm in a state that doesn't protect me. The head predator is in a state that does have laws against this. I'll have to research that more.

Nothing else going on, yet. I haven't received a response from CJC. We'll see what they say and go from there. If they can't help me, I'll go federal. I don't care if some, probably traffic, cop told me the FBI wouldn't give me the time of day. Even if I have to go to the media about this. Something will happen. I'm willing to sacrifice my life for this cause. The only thing stopping me from this is my son's safety. He comes first. He will be safe before I take this further. My life is expendable. If I can possibly make it easier for someone else in my situation down the road, then so be it.

Stalkingvictims.com

The wonderful people at Stalkingvictims.com have already replied to a post I made about my problem. They've been the quickest to help.

I joined them earlier today and less than 30 minutes after my post, I got a response. The person who replied directed me to J.A. Naylor which, I'm sad to say, I've never heard of before. Credentials on the page say "J. A. Naylor Investigative and Consulting Firm is managed by Jeff Naylor, formerly the Primary Security Officer for Vice President Cheney, and Special Agent with the United States Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID). He is among the worlds foremost experts on Cyberstalking and a sought-after keynote speaker for Law Enforcement, Government, and public organizations on the topic." Which sounds like some big guns. I'll have to research.

The person also gave me a link to a Yahoo group for multi-stalker victims.

It's nice not to be alone on this. To have people that know the situation first-hand. I mean I have some support from family and friends, it's just nice to have someone who's been there.

CJC eMail.

Below is an eMail to Childrens Justice Center.

Hi. I'm sorry if this is the wrong correspondence but I was directed to contact Childrens Justice Center by law enforcement. They told me there's nothing they can do and said the FBI wouldn't care either.

A friend of mine made enemies with (censored), a vigilante group set to track "pedophiles" online. During this time, I was not on speaking terms with my friend. But since I was previously associated with him, the group attacked me. Posting my full name, all my family members' full names, my previous addresses, pictures of me, my son, my vehicle, my license plate number.

The site this information was posted on is (censored), a mock site of an anti-(censored) site. The owner of both (censored) and (censored) is the one that posted the information.

Knowing the groups past, I'm in great fear for my son's life and my own. Law enforcement told me there's nothing I can do unless my life was in immediate danger. Don't I have any rights? Doesn't my son? I'm not important enough because what's going on isn't a felony, as I'm told by the police officer I spoke to.

I believe this would be a COPPA violation.

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and Rule apply to individually identifiable information about a child that is collected online, such as full name, home address, email address, telephone number or any other information that would allow someone to identify or contact the child. The Act and Rule also cover other types of information -- for example, hobbies, interests and information collected through cookies or other types of tracking mechanisms -- when they are tied to individually identifiable information.

My son's 3 years old. I assume since my information is posted, my address, telephone number, and my son's picture, that this would be a violation. I was not contacted about this information being posted, I was not asked to grant permission to put up the information.

I appreciate any help you can possibly offer.

For the time being, I would like to keep my identity hidden unless you can offer me help, other than telling me to file a civil suit because the FBI won't give me the time of day.

LE.

I went to the police station today, after I printed out all the info. I talked to an officer. He said there's nothing they can do because they "Don't have enough resources." I asked him if I should go to the FBI. He said they wouldn't give me the time of day. He had the nerve to compare my situation with fraudulent checks. "We get 5,000 bad checks written a day. We can't go chasing down every bad check written. So, we go after the felony checks which drops it down to 4." Thanks. That makes me feel much better.

He told me to contact the county's Children Justice Center. Okay? I told him that the organization is in clear violation of COPPA. I told him I'm in substantial fear for my life and the life of my child. He said he was sorry. I asked him if the only way they'd be able to help me is if my life was immediately in danger. He said "Yes." I thanked him and left.

Advice.

  • Choose a genderless screen name.
  • Save offending messages and report them to your service provider.
  • If someone makes threats in a chatroom or on a message board, notify the moderator or Web site operator right away.
  • Don't confront the stalker/harasser, this only arouses more anger or emotional attacks.
  • Don't give out any personal information about yourself or anyone else.
  • Google yourself to make sure no personal information is posted by others about you.

This is just a short list of things you can do to prevent cyberstalking/harassing. I followed all of it except, I gave out personal information. I gave out personal information to people I thought I could trust. I've spoken to some people for years and trusted them with my full name and address. Now, I have a huge organization of vigilantes after me.

I'd like to send my deepest thanks to Google and other sites out there that cache pages. Otherwise, I would have never known all my information was plastered online. I wouldn't have known that I had become a target until it was too late. That's the best thing you can do, Google yourself. Google your eMail names. In Example: username@domain.com. Google your unique usernames. In Example: xjanedoex123. If your username is something that's not unique, such as "God", then your chances of finding something are rare. Lastly, Google your full name. In Example: "Jane Doe". Use quotation marks.

Limbo.

I went to the library today to get the stuff printed out. They were closed. I went to another library, they were closed, too. Went to Kinko's hoping they might be able to print out the stuff. Closed. I'm disappointed. I wanted to get this done.

On the bright side, I'm collecting more information on the owner of the watchdog group. Maybe that'll make it easier on the police. I'll probably have to take this Federal since it's across state lines and other Federal offenses. I'd like to see this guy rot in prison for what he's done to me and my family. What he's done to many other families.

Since tomorrow's a holiday, I doubt anything's open. I hate the waiting. I have to wait until Tuesday.

I saved the cached pages with all my information just in case. Saved the whois on their site(s). Saved all the information. Not like the ringleader makes it difficult.

All this pain, suffering, because I met someone online.

Hell.

I experienced hell yesterday when I Googled my own information. First, I started with my eMails. Found nothing. Whew, I did something right. Second, I began Googling my unique usernames. Found a couple sites, no problem. Lastly, I Googled my full name in quotations. I found an enemy.

I made this enemy unknowingly. A person I chatted with made an anti-site against a fairly large organization of watchdogs. And because I was associated with this person, I became a target.

I eventually found out about this enemy from the person when a troll posted my full name in the anti-site's forum. I wasn't too worried at that point because I, stupidly, had my own dot com that, when a whois was ran, would show my full contact info. I regret getting my dot com to this day. I figured it was just someone begging for attention and barking at the end of their leash.

Then, I saw the enemy. A cached page of the watchdog group's forum. Three pages of all my info, smeared for people to mock. My photos, my full name and address, my family's full names and previous addresses. My work history. My student history. Everything you could possibly imagine, strewn for the forumites to dissect, dismantle, publically.

I read through the forum and eventually came to a post that brought up why I was being attacked. Because someone signed up a username that was similar to a nickname I have and posted on the anti-site. They assumed it was me, just because someone knew I had a certain nickname and posted.

I plan on printing all this out and go to the police today to see if there is anything I can do.

The best advice I can offer anyone: Do NOT get a dot com. No no no! Do NOT post your eMail, even if you type it youremailATserverdotcom, it's still easily Googled. Do NOT give your full name to ANYONE. I don't care how much you trust a person. I don't care how long you've talked to them. I don't care if you're on a singles site. Just don't do it.

I'm tech savvy. I'm VERY tech savvy. So this is a kick to the head finding out that it was so easy for these people to find out everything they could about me.

I'm going to try to keep an updated blog about this in hopes someone out there will be protected by my fuck-up.
